The Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech supports the assigned unit by facilitating communication with patients, staff, physicians, visitors and ancillary departments.
The Unit Secretary directs incoming calls and responds to patient calls.
The Unit Secretary enters physician's orders in the Information System.
The Unit Secretary maintains patient's charts, unit files and secretarial supply levels.
The Unit Secretary is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
Follows Telemetry Monitoring Policy & Procedures.
Reports all abnormal findings to RN immediately.
Records strips per policy.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
