Noramco, Inc. a member of Johnson & Johnson?s Family of Companies is recruiting for a Microbiologist located in Athens, Georgia.
Noramco, Inc. produces a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients and is a major worldwide producer of medicinal analgesics, pharmaceutical intermediates and synthetic fine organic chemicals. It also produces monomers and polymers for pharmaceutical and medical devices.
Under general supervision or working independently, the Microbiologist is responsible for sampling and/or testing of raw materials, in-process materials, final products, water, and other samples (e.g., equipment sanitization rinses) in adherence to appropriate standard operating procedures and specifications for microbiological organisms. The Microbiologist will design, conducts and interprets microbiological experiments to support ongoing operations, process improvement initiatives, and new product development activities. The successful candidate will provide microbiological scientific support to technology and product development, and reviews scientific and technical summaries, and provides recommendations for potential business applications.
The Microbiologist will perform and review microbiological analyses of raw materials, in-process and finished products, water testing and environmental monitoring, and will perform biological indicator, growth promotion, endotoxin, and bioburden testing, and microbial identifications. The Microbiologist will conduct non-conformance investigations in the laboratory and process areas, provide written documentation, and determine corrective action(s) to be taken. Will establish good laboratory practices and adheres to cGMP guidelines to maintain a clean and safe microbiology laboratory. The successful candidate will summarize and conduct preliminary data interpretation, maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting; give scientific input based on current literature, and assist in writing abstracts and manuscripts. Will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, operate analytical and other instruments considered standard for area of expertise, including qualification, preventative maintenance and calibration, to ensure reliable, prompt, and accurate test data.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor?s in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years experience in the field of bacteriology, microbiology, or applicable food science fields is required.
Experience writing technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals is required.
Experience working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, statistical process control and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry is required.
Experience applying mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, sampling theory, dimensional analysis, linear regression, and ANOVA is required.
Demonstrated experience dealing with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases is required.
Working knowledge of and experience working with cGMPs is required.
Knowledge of FDA recommended procedures (Bacteriological Analytical Methods) or equivalent test methods is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of cGMPs, safety and environmental regulations as they apply to a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills as demonstrated through prior performance achievements is required.
Strong leadership, conflict management and team-building skills are required.
Good communication and collaboration skills in a cross functional, matrix organization is required.
This position requires up to 10% travel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
