Purpose:
The Sr. Manager, Business Development will plan and implement of penetration strategies in order to cultivate and capture new business opportunities within markets that enable the Flextronics to exceed revenue and profit expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in this market and provide key insights to the cross-functional executive management team.
Principle Accountabilities/Duties:
oLeverage extensive industry relationships to penetrate Flextronics services into new markets.
oArchitect and communicate sales strategy for these customers.
oAnalyze and understand customer strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies for new business opportunities.
oExpertly cultivate customer relationships, develop & deliver effective proposals, and negotiate contracts to capture profitable new business.
oEffectively brief and leverage senior executives on strategy and tactics to enhance customer relationships and consummate deals.
oEstablish, communicate, and hold direct and matrix team accountable for proposal objectives and deliverables to maximize operating profit and revenue growth.
oSuccessfully negotiate difficult and/or critical business matters, through interaction with executives both internal and external.
oRepresent and provide market exposure for Flextronics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
oWork with corporate marketing to identify suitable communication channels to best engage potential customers on Flextronics' message. Present at industry conferences to drive Flextronics messages.

Job Requirements
Minimum (MUST HAVE)
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree required
oFive plus years of progressive experience in sales / business development roles in the markets.
oExtensive experience in industry/market sales, required.
oKnowledge of program management, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations functions, and strong financial acumen.
oDynamic builder of relationships with customers, with track record of identifying new areas of opportunity and negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit.
oTrack record selling to large multi-national customers in the markets.
oAn effective communicator with customers, executives, peers, and subordinates.
oDemonstrate alacrity, attention to detail and effectiveness.
oStrategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
oWell versed in all MS Office applications.
oSignificant travel
Preferred (NICE TO HAVE) Qualifications :
MBA preferred.
