Filling Technician
Filling Technician Needed for Contract Position
Purpose: To perform any process/support duties associated with the automated filling of Merial vaccines. Works within the filling department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of vaccines.
Major
Responsibilities: List the five to ten major continuing responsibilities
o Communicates facility and inventory related needs daily
o Adheres to daily production schedule
o Performs preventative maintenance as required
o Maintains facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures
o Performs hands-on processing according to Standard Operating Procedures
o Completes required documentation (MR's, DC's, batch tickets, etc) in an accurate, concurrent and timely manner
o Prepares laboratory, equipment and collects necessary supplies required to execute process
o Maintain a clean work environment
o Demonstrate a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the Merial Values in all work related activities
o In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope
Knowledge and Skills: List knowledge/skills required including any required educational qualifications
Required:
o Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent
o 1year related experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
o Post secondary education in Technical or Biology field
o 2 years of related manufacturing environment
o Mechanical knowledge and experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
